Newburgh Children’s Play Area

This project is to purchase and install a new play area for the children of Newburgh. The project will entail the preparation of the land, creation of a new public entrance from the main thoroughfare, fencing the perimeter, the laying of safety surfacing and installation of a range of play equipment.The objective of the project is to allow Newburgh children to have easy and safe access to a play area and to provide the opportunity to increase physical activity. It will benefit the community as a whole as it will be available to all village children, the local playgroup, and after school club and children attending the village school, as well as visitors.The play area will incorporate a slide, two sets of swings, a climbing frame, spring rider, play panels, safety surfacing, benches, bins and information sign.
