Newtownards Road Community Pocket Park

The proposed project is to create a pocket park along the Newtownards Road in East Belfast by removing a row of derelict properties and creating a new community space. The area has suffered from severe blight for over 30 years and is on a very visible aerterial route into the city. This project will transform this space into a community pocket park and will involve and engage residents and various other groups in the local vicinity interested in using and maintaining the site.
