Nidd Gorge – Woodland with a rich history

The Woodland Trust would very much like to carry out an archaeological survey at Nidd Gorge and requests assistance from WREN to fund this work. The information included in the survey will inform the work we plan to do in the future at Nidd Gorge. This application also includes essential vegetation cuts along footpaths and the felling to waste of 30 non-native conifers, and access improvements to entrances into the forest to aid persons with disabilities.
