NoFitState Circus – Four Elms Centre, Adamsdown, Cardiff

NoFitState Circus is a charity that provides creative development and community engagement programmes; its founders were from the Adamsdown area of Cardiff. Up until the present day, the charity has operated from various locations within Cardiff and it has been granted a 99 year lease over ‘Four Elms’ enabling the circus to go home to the community where it all started. The Four Elms site is undergoing a major renovation at a cost of £1.342M, to make it fit-for-purpose. In order to maintain the character of the building (grade 2 listed) there is a strong commitment to emphahsising its unique features. This project will support a discrete element of the works, namely the conservation of 22 stained glass windows in the north elevation of the building.
