Nonington Cricket Club – Practice Nets

The project is to install practice nets to increase seasonal use for families, young people and community groups to use the ground as an informal place to play, meet and take part in health related activities. Benefiting people in an area which has poor transport links, and also people on low incomes.
The project will provide all generations with the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills and experiences. The facilities will be fully inclusive and accessible for people with disabilities.

There is a clear need for the project, the area suffers from high deprivation, anti social behavior, unemployment, poor health and limited community facilities/services. These new facilities will be fully inclusive and allow for a wider range of participation in the club facilities from the area.
