North Arden Heritage Trail: Canal Towpath Restoration

This project is community led and continually shaped via meetings, events and walks undertaken with local people and groups. The key target is to resurface 1.8km of canal towpath in order to provide much improved access to a key section of the North Arden Heritage Trail.
Social, natural and built environment: The walk will help to promote the health and well-being of local communities, offer educational facilities in the form of interpretative art features and heritage interpretation boards, and have economic benefits by increasing numbers of visitors to use local facilities and businesses.
