North Devon Cricket Club, Instow - Windows

The Thatched Pavilion is considered to be one of finest in the country and about 300 years old. 5 very old windows to the rear are in various states of distress and a Listed Building Consent application has been made to replace/repair them. Application granted by local council All 5 lintels need replacing as does the glazing. Window surrounds are historically important and will be repaired as much as possible but the sills are beyond help. If the work is not completed the lintels will continue to bow which will have a direct effect on the structure of the building. If the surrounds continue to rot and the glazing give away this will mean that the security of the Pavilion is effected.
