North Edinburgh Community Centre Greenspace Initiative

North Edinburgh Community Centre Greenspace initiative is targeted at marginalised young people in the 14-25 age group within North Edinburgh. The project provides a range of activities and a programme of support designed to facilitate their personal and social development via community-based Greenspace regeneration projects.

The success of NECCGI will be reflected in the engagement of local people in regeneration projects and helping them to develop new skills, obtain qualifications and improve their confidence.

The project will also develop the core skills and capacity of local youth workers to enhance their ability to develop community – based Greenspace projects.
