North Kensington Green Roofs Project

The project will transform four flat concrete, asphalt and corrugated community building rooftops in North Kensington into green (vegetated) roofs. The project will increase the biological diversity and overall green areas within North Kensington and Chelsea through the introduction of a cluster of Green Roofs. This will crease habitats for a mix of species. The habitats will be highly visible, engaging and will improve the appearance of the borough. Once greened, each site will be transformed from a hard, concrete, asphalt area into a green living space that will become unique in styl, planting and the wildlife they attract.
