North Littleton Community Orchard continued management

This LCF funded site has been successfully transformed from ‘agricultural waste ground’ to a wildlife haven with a community orchard and grasslands. This Projects aims to complete the orchard planting with traditional fruit varieties. The established hedgerow will be laid using traditional methods to create a visual amenity along the roadside while providing bird nesting sites. Access improvements will ensure safe public access the the site, giving a permitted walking route linking to a public right of way.
