North Littleton Community Orchard wildlife hedge

Create a wildlife-friendly hedge to encourage wildlife in to the proposed community orchard. The hedge will also act as a boundary marker and wind-break for the LCF funded community orchard. As the site develops as a community orchard we wish to ensure that nesting and feeding areas are retained and created for farmland birds. The choice of native shrubs will maximise the wildlife benefits and visual amenity. We will include damson trees in the hedge which is typical of old hedges in the area.
