North Petherton RFC – Roof Refurbishment

The project will enable them to transform the current infrastructure as the roof has had multiple repairs that are not sustainable. The new roof will give them the ability to continue to provide a community facility to the ever expanding local population. The project will replace the existing roof with a side extension. Due to the size of the trusses, when replacing the roof, they will include a small side extension to the left of the building. This will enable the function room to have its own entrance and toilets to service this area. Currently visitors have to come through the doors by the front bar and when rugby is taking place they do not have enough toilet facilities to meet the demand of all of the guests. They need to make the function room sustainable so that parties and rugby can be hosted at the same time and to keep the private function in the hall private and not part of the bar area. The main project with the majority of the costs is replacing the roof section.
