North Ribblesdale RUFC – Replacement Clubhouse Boiler & Heating System

With the rapid expansion of North Ribblesdale RUFC over the past 10 years, adding a second men’s team, mini rugby (ages between 6 and 12), a ladies team and walking rugby, the existing, aged, hot water and heating system is no longer fit for purpose. The system has been failing and repairs are no longer possible and or are prohibitively expensive. The club is not only active in rugby but a considerable number of social and corporate events are hosted at the clubhouse, which is a major centre for community groups and activities in the village of Settle. The experience of visiting the club is no longer of an acceptable serviceable standard with people being cold in the clubhouse and hot water not being of and adequate for player showers and visitor hygiene.

The project will decommission the existing water tanks and boiler, remove all, fit new water heaters, boiler, an additional radiator in the meeting room, run new gas supplies to the building, do all supporting electrical work, have new upgraded water supply installed and brought to the clubhouse from the road.

The new systems are designed to be future proof to allow use, given the continued rate of growth of the club, for the next 10 to 15 years.
