North Street Methodist Community Church Centre, Crewe – New Lighting & Climate Control (005710)

This project will improve the church and community centre owned and run by the Methodist Church in Crewe, Cheshire. There is a Coffee Shop on site open 6 days per week, and alongside this work in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organisations a range of information, advice and support services are delivered for the local community.

The project will contribute towards the cost of installing air-conditioning (climate control) and separate lighting circuits in the building.

When the building was designed in an open plan way. However since opening in 2015, there has been demand for a range of different sizes of space and usage, ranging from funeral teas of around 100 people to small group and 1 to 1 meetings. Partitions have since been installed and this project will enable these partitioned areas to have separate heating and lighting controls.
