Northaw Community Orchard – a Sustainable Future

The project will create a community orchard for Northaw, opening-up land in the heart of the village that has been closed to the public, and will provide a new greenspace for people to enjoy for years to come. The orchard will include traditional Hertfordshire varieties of apples, plums, pears, cherries and nuts and will help to preserve and enhance the biodiversity of the site. It will also house the community’s bee hives.
