Northern Forest Partnersip Project – Nidd

We aim to inspire people to enjoy and increase their visits to Nidd Gorge by making significant improvements to this lovely wood. We seek support to improve access (bridges, steps, paths); work with volunteers on a range of tasks, including some of the less specialist path works; and carry out woodland management, particularly alongside paths to help routes to dry out and encourage ground flora and the regeneration of tree species, to make the wood more varied and attractive. All these works will encourage new and lapsed visitors and increase visits, and visit length, from our existing users.
