Northern Writers Centre

The Northern Writers Centre is a partnership project between Newcastle University and New Writing North, the regional development agency for literature in the north east. It aims to create a flagship purpose built venue for writers, young people and literature audiences in Newcastle upon Tyne – the first of its kind in the UK. The Centre will include an auditorium for literary performance, a training studio for creative writing workshops, writers studios for individual writers and space for two small literary businesses.
