Northwich – Belmont Road Play Area Improvements

The project aims to refurbish and improve the play area so that it is inclusive and accessible.
The whole site will be cleared of all equipment and existing surfacing which is a mix of bark, sand and grass mats which are not accessible. Once this has been completed new play equipment will be installed throughout the site and will be complemented by different coloured sand filled carpet which will differentiate each zone.
The current site is virtually unusable for children in a wheelchair or reduced mobility. The new surfacing will improve access for all ability users and the new equipment will be inclusive.
