Norton Playing Field – Multi Use Games Area

The project's aim is to encourage active and healthy living by providing an all weather Multi-Use-Games-Area within the community for use by all, free of charge, 7 days a week. It is hoped that this new facility will enhance the playing field for existing users which include the primary school, amateur sports teams, mothers and toddler group and provide an impetus to create new user groups within the village and the wider rural community eg tennis, netball throughout the year. The project has community validation as villagers have completed a questionnaire which came back with 93% support.
