Norton Priory Growing Area

The aim of the project is to work with volunteers to enhance an unused part of the walled garden yard as a growing area and sociable space. The improvements will provide an area for educational sessions, horticultural therapy and will improve the outdoor area for the cafe which is open access for all. The project will create raised beds for veg growing, a pizza oven, pergola, fruit trees, a fruit cage and new access paths. The staff will work with Norton Priory volunteers, Halton Conservation Group, St Helens College and placements from Thorncross Prison.
