Norwood Park Sports Pitch Refurbishment

For a number of years the sports pitch at Norwood Park has been in a state of disrepair. The current surface is ‘RedGra’ which creates substantial wind blown dust problems for adjacent residents during dry weather, in a addition the surface has poor drainage, rendering the pitch unusable after rain. To this end the pitch does not have the level of established community group users, or in fact individual users, as other pitches within the borough. The proposed refurbishment works will resurface the pitch with a more suitable surface, address the drainage of the pitch and replace and improve the perimeter fencing to further protect the adjacent residents
