Notre Dame Community Hall Makeover

Over the last 10 years the TRA has worked hard to upgrade the community centre, refurbishing the kitchen and office, tiling toilet floors, installing central heating, double glazing, a new security front door, and repainting the interior - all paid for from funds raised by us or our from own revenues from hiring the hall. There are currently 5 outstanding repairs needed on the premises. The old wooden back fire doors are insufficiently secure and difficult to open and close in wet weather. Externally, the soakaway drains around the toilets let in the damp and children do very tiresome things with the gravel there. The disabled access path through the community centre's garden is crumbling and the concrete end wall, our public face, is cracked and unsightly. We intend to do a mosaic on it but can't without it being resurfaced. Also, out of five window blinds, only one and a half still function.
