Nutfield Outdoors: History Walk, and Wildlife Hotspots

The aim is provide two new online services to local people encouraging them to enjoy the outdoors. The details will be available to all to view and /or download from the Nutfield Conservation Society website, and will also be publicised locally. The first is a guided walk taking people along the historic Nutfield High St, highlighting with text and drawings, the oldest and most historic local buildings that walkers will see along the way. The second is called Nutfield’s Nature Hotspots, and it will highlight walks that can be taken in and around the parish using maps, and with links to the nature reserves concerned. The site, which will be found as a Tab on the Nutfield Conservation Society website, will also allow people to send in photos of wildlife to a photo gallery, will advertise work days for local conservation groups, and will allow people to send in details of local nature sightings. The project requires the services of a web designer to prepare it for online viewing.
