Oaks Park, Carshalton – Dog Free and Natural Play Area

The Friends of Oaks Park, Carshalton Fields Residents’ Association and Sutton Council are working together to provide a dog free natural play area to fulfill the need for an amenity for families with younger children.Below are pictures of the selected location for the dog free and natural play area. It is situated in the south eastern section of the Park encompassing a beautiful area of parkland of about 135 metres in circumference. The area will be completely enclosed with 1.20 metre high pressure treated timber fencing to make it dog free and enable families and children to play and picnic in a clean, dog free environment. Two 1.20 x 1.20m pedestrian gates will be provided as well as a pair of 1.20m tall x 3m wide maintenance gates. The proposed dog free area will have some simple wooden items of play equipment such as balance bars and 2 benches.
