OBA Millennium Cultural Centre, Community Hub, Oldham: Urgent Essential Refurb

This grant will be used to fund much needed and urgent improvement work to our community centre, the work will greatly impact service users as these works will enable users to better use the facility and provide improved safety, convenience and comfort. The main priorities are: Ladies and mens (including disabled access) toilets, shower cubicles and changing rooms to be refurbed, many of the toilets, cubicles and showers are out of order and not useable, this improvement will allow more people to be able to use the facilities and also bring back to use essential and vital services to better cater for community needs.
This project will enable the local community and the centres service users to enjoy better quality of services, the centre is already very well used, it is open access and does not discriminate in any way or form, our current users include schools, NHS, Oldham council, sports groups, church group, learning delivery partners, youth clubs, women’s organisations and other community groups.
