Old Manor Bridge

The listed bridge spans the Manor Water just outside Peebles. It has become severly degraded in recent years to the point where it has had to be closed to vehicular traffic and the wingalls and parapets are on the verge of collapse. These emergency works are desigend to consolidate the brdige so it can be enjoyed by all in the future. The bridge is not only a Grade B listed structure but also constitutes and essenital link in one the most important and popular walking/cycling/horserising routes in the region (this is backed up by Council visitor counter figures).
