Old North Pier - Sunderland - Irreparable Heating System Replacement

The facility uses two gas boilers installed in the late 1990s to provide heating and hot water for ducted air systems, radiators, taps, and showers. The system has not been upgraded since installation and is now unreliable. The ducted air system no longer functions, the radiators are undersized and corroded, and boiler breakdowns frequently disrupt heating and hot water.
As a centre for water-based outdoor activities, consistent heating and hot water are essential for user comfort and safety. The building’s glass-fronted design also increases heating demand. This project will replace the boilers, ducting, and radiators to deliver a more efficient and dependable system.
