Old Shoreham Tollbridge Conservation

The project is to conserve the bridge by carrying out a detailed survey and design work before renovating the bridge to retain it as an historic listed structure and important sustainable access link. The bridge is a key link across the river Adur, built in 1781 it has carried traffic across the river since. It is now limited to cyclists, horse riders and pedestrians. It is both an important link for people working on the Shoreham Airport site and for recreational use thus reducing the number of vehicles that have to use the A27
