Oldbury Recreation Renaissance

The children’s play area equipment dates back to 1974 and is now at the point where it needs to be replace, it does not meet current European standards and will soon have to be gradually taken out of service.
In 2010 work started on a Parish Plan, the community participated in a detailed survey, not surprisingly the play equipment for children up to the age of 11 was identified as becoming unfit for purpose.
The ‘Renaissance’ project seeks to invigorate the younger children’s play area by providing modern, attractive and low maintenance equipment which is safe and secure and satisfies the latest standards.
