Oldways Memorial Walk (Phase 3)

To improve public access to the site for use by local residents, school children and visitors by increasing the area that is cleared and managed. To encourage more wildlife and enhance the wetland areas, to attract more birds, insects and improve the habitat for water voles. To plant more native wildflowers and to deliver aspects of the project with local volunteers to increase public ownership and participation in the site. LCF funding will pay for a contractor to construct 180m of footpath and clear dead and decaying shrubs and open up a wetland area.
