Open Doors – The St Nicholas Church Extension Project

To improve the facilities provided in and access to the church by building a two storey extension to the Grade 2 Listed building. Downstairs there will be toilets, a servery for refreshments, a lounge area and general meeting space. Upstairs there will be an exhibition and education room with supporting facilities. This is designed for use by local community groups and for our educational work with local schools. A new entrance will give a view into the beautiful and tranquil interior and enhance the external environment by improving the appearance of the west wall.
