Open to the Future – A re-ordering project for The Priory Church of St Mary’s, Deerhurst, Gloucestershire

Open to the Future is a flagship project designed to improve the facilities of this ancient Priory Church in existence since the 9th century. Despite its significant potential, it is currently under-used and in need of urgent attention. The project aims to address particular problems that are preventing the expansion of the Church’s contribution to local and national life. By protecting and promoting important historical, religious and architectural features and improving access and facilities, the Church will be able to function more effectively in providing worship and cultural events and respond to community needs and expoectations for the 21st century.
