Organ Rebuilding Project (of the church of St Mary the Virgin, Twyford)

On the advice of our consultant Stephen Bicknell, author of 'The History of the English Organ', rebuilding the 1867 Joseph Walker Pipe Organ to the more powerful specification intended by Walker (but not carried out at the time beacuse funds were exhausted) when the organ was moved in 1878 from the medieval church into a larger replacement building by Alfred Waterhouse
