Ormskirk – Lived Experience Community Cafe (Wheatsheaf Walk)

Refurbish the building to create a bespoke multipurpose peer support community cafe and well-being hub which will provide a safe and welcoming space where the community can connect and receive support through a range of activities.
Works include: Remove existing stud walls (ground / first floor); Remove single skin wall to first floor; Add RSJ; Install disabled toilet, support rails, emergency point, lobby and fire door regulations (ground floor); Install kitchen (incl. hot / cold water, gas, extraction and all electrical requirements); Block external access; Create new fire door locations, install lintels, and new fire door to fire regulations specifications; Remove first floor toilet; All plumbing work for water and waste; Create room on ground floor; All electrical works to NICEIC certification standard; Create outdoor terrace area on first floor, incl. awning; Plaster-boarding, plastering, decorating, flooring, smoke alarms, CCTV and furniture.
