Orton-on – the Hill church Facility, Community and heritage Project 2005/2006 Phase Two

The project creates a meeting area/disabled toilet/kitchenette facilities at the west end of the church, offering a public meeting place for the village and the surrounding area. Phase One (new ceiling in the tower base/stud partitions for toilet/kitchenette/towerbase floor) was completed spring 2005 at a cost of £22,000
Phase Two comprises: new water/sewage provision, disabled toilet/doors/cupboards/kitchenette/alteration of west end furniture to provide a meeting area/electrical supply to west end and provision of lighting and heating to facilities/new disabled entrance into church -total cost £43,127
