Orton Park CC Ground and Facilities Improvement

Orton Park CC Ground and Facilities Improvement. Extension of the pavilion to provide a social area and upgrading from 2 to 4 changing rooms. Expansion of the ground to 2 pitches (therefore able to run two junior/ladies’ matches simultaneously) and 4 outfield softball pitches to host club and schools softball tournaments. Security fencing to protect neighbours’ properties from cricket balls, for site security and health and safety of youngsters, and prepare foundations for the installation of new pitches flanking our main square. This grant will specifically support the purchase of new ground machinery and service existing machinery, so the facility can be maintained to high standards.
