Otterhampton, Somerset – Refurbishment of Play and Recreation Area

The existing childrens play area is over 30 years old. It has just 4 items of equipment. It is in desperate need of replacement and enhancement as it is no longer fit for purpose. It can only be used for approximately 8 or 9 months of the year (not in bad weather due to poor access, which will be addressed in the project). The project will provide an increased, modern, safe and enhanced play area for children, which will incorporate a youth and recreation shelter, and outdoor gym equipment for 14+years of age and adults. The new facility will include provision for disabled children and those with mobility issues, something the existing facility does not offer. This will be a recreation area the whole family can enjoy together
