Ouston Community Centre

The Ouston Community Association was established in 1974. It provides a community centre facility where current activities include out of school clubs, toddler group, housebound club, credit union and a range of other community clubs and organisations. The aim of the project is to make the approach to the Community Centre more inviting by purchasing large planters and planting up with drought-tolerant plants which will also attract birds, butterflies and insects. It also includes the purchase of nesting boxes and feeding boxes and a bird table which will be placed around the fencing in the play area. as well as seating for the play area. The children from the nursery and toddler group will be involved in the planting up and in the siting of the nesting and feeding boxes.
