Outdoor improvement for the Chipping Sodbury Community

The aim of the project is to become more amenable to the community of Chipping Sodbury. We play a major role in the community and have noticed the impact even more since coronavirus has impacted everyones lives. We have noticed a greater number of people using our facilities during this time.
We now need to provide a safe space for everyone to use.

The aim is to firstly reseed the sports pitches so that they can carry greater use for people using the space for recreational sport as well as the club organised sport and matches. This will involve reseeding and fertilising the whole area.
The pitches will need an intense maintenance regime with the appropriate machinery which we would buy from this grant. This would be a compact tractor and mower unit. The machinery we would buy is a new mower and set of gangs to maintain the pitches. We have taken advice on the specific machinery that is required to replace our old machinery.
