Outdoor Theatre at Windmill Hill City Farm

This project aims to transform an underused play area at Windmill Hill City Farm by adding a 150-person capacity outdoor theatre space. By landscaping the grounds and installing pathways, lighting and power, we will create an outdoor amphitheatre and stage to welcome a diverse range of artists and audiences. Through our partnership with Tobacco Factory Theatres, we will create a summer programme of circus, comedy and community performances, reaching around 3,600 members of the local community in 2023. The project will provide an informal, accessible introduction to theatre in an area of high deprivation.
