Overnewton Square

Overnewton Square is a degraded public open space that the local community have worked on for three years, raising awareness and developing proposals. It is surrounded by residential flats and there is a small community buiding on the site. The overall area is approximately 3000 sq. m. Predominately grass and trees, there is a semi derelict play space. The local community have been successful in promoting a project to erect new railings and now wish to tackle the rest of the area. The plan is to upgrade the park with new public spaces, play area and a woodland garden. The aim is to create a vibrant and safe social space for the local community.
