Overscourt at the Heart of the Community

The project would bring together partners and work with communities to improve links between them and the developing 89ha community woodland of Overscourt Wood. Match funding would support signage improvement of links to the wood and a new footbridge at the site, with Enovert Community Trust funding being sought to run a volunteering programme at the site to improve and create access routes, as well as running activities to engage all sections of the local community in it. Funding is also requested for a site leaflet. The LCF funded part of this project will focus on the footbridge, a boardwalk and a volunteer programme to deliver small scale access improvements.
