Oxford – Florence park lounge renovation

The community centre has a hall with kitchen which is very fully used. The lounge area is a small separate space
which is carpeted and currently provides only tables and chairs.. The plumbing layout at the centre means that it
would be easy to install a small sink unit, providing the means for users (who do not have access to the kitchen) to
make a hot drink. This is important as the centre is part of Oxford City Council’s Warm Spaces
initiative advertising the centre as somewhere people can come to escape cold homes over the winter.

The project will involve the installation of a sink and worktop within the lounge, associated equipment to facilitate tea and coffee making. New curtains, carpet cleaning and redecorating/repainting the room.
