Oxhey Park North, Watford – Skatepark (006069)

THis project will create a Wheeled Sports Activity Centre on a piece of land, previously used as a contractors’ compound and redundant pitches, part of Oxhey Park. The development of this land is aimed to enhance cycling and skate boarding activities in Watford as part of the delivery of the council’s Sports Facilities Strategy. The area lends itself to new sports/leisure facilities that would not only meet specific sporting needs within the borough but also those of Oxhey Park users, which currently has no facilities such as a cafe or public conveniences.
