Paddington Recreation Ground Nature Area

The project will be transforming a large part of Paddington Recreation Ground (3,400m2) into a nature area where an ecology field centre will provide the focal point for an environmental education programme. The wider project will seek to improve not only the ecological value of the park but people’s access to and enjoyment of nature.
An ecology field centre is planned as the focus for an environmental education programme where dedicated staff and trained educators will facilitate wildlife courses, activities and events.
