Painting & Maintenance of Ufford Village Hall

The village hall requires painting and maintenance in order to maintain the integrity of the building. As the village hall no longer gets any precept from local authorities, it must cover all of its own costs. Its hire income, plus fundraising activities from the committee are the only sources of income, but this is not sufficient for larger restoration projects. This project is to strip down, repair as necessary, and re-paint all flashings, fascias, external window and door frames of the hall in order to restore it to good condition. This work is important in keeping the hall a desirable place to hire and in keeping for its position in the heart of Ufford.
