Palmer Field Environmental Improvements

Palmer’s field is one of the largest open green spaces in London Borough of Islington. The area was recently re-development by creating a new entrance area and putting in woodland edge and wildflower planting. There are no formal facilities and while it is an attractive open space, there is much that can be done to promote community activities. The second phase of the regeneration project aims to make the area more accessible by putting in a path way, and transforming it into a community space through picnic benches, tables, bins and a children’s playground for the 1800 residents
