Panorama Walk Viewpoint, Friends of Avon Valley Woodlands

2017 will mark the 60th anniversary of the creation of The Avon Valley Park. The original opening ceremony in 1957 was held on the cliff top plateau overlooking the Avon. The Friends of Avon Valley Woodlands propose to restore this original viewpoint and sections of the adjacent cliff top paths known as Panorama Walk. The intention is to replace and up-grade the existing cliff top fencing, signage, way marking and access paths and to create a focal point at the main viewing area by building a bespoke seating area with low stone wall and wrought iron handrail.
