Parbold Hut on the Hill

The Hut-On-The-Hill will give a new facility to support local youth organisations, providing a modern, environmentally friendly building, with 2 meeting rooms, kitchen and storage, built on the site of the existing scout hut. It will incorporate geothermal heating and an overinsulated composite build.. Full planning permission has been received, and we have successfully raised over £39,000 through hard work by the groups involved. A business plan demonstrates that the building is sustainable through the contributions of all of the local Scouting and Guiding groups -. Over 300 young people will make use of the facility on a weekly basis, and it will be open to all members of the community
