The hall improvements increased uses of space but exposed infra – structural deficiencies. The refurbishment aims to: –
Create an economically sustainable building through energy efficiency and reduced costs.
Complete/ complement main hall’s transformation, by developing the rest as a fully viable venue, accessible to user-groups not catered for, from the community and beyond.
Create rural employment from new income-streams.
Meet community’s strategic needs, while retaining existing options.

Energy efficiency/ economy:
New external doors, window shutters and roof insulation
Energy -efficient lighting
Refurbished toilets including disabled
Water conservation measures
Disabled facilities and developed capacity:-

hearing loop-system,
Audio/ visual capability for classes and village cinema for elderly/ young limited by rural location
